What Is MakeX
MakeX is a robotics competition platform that promotes multidisciplinary learning within the fields of science and technology.
It aims at building a world where STEAM education is highly appreciated and where young people are passionate about innovation by engaging them in exciting Robotics Competition, STEAM Carnival, etc.
MakeX Robotics Competition provides exciting, challenging and high-level competitions in the spirit of creativity, teamwork, fun and sharing.
MakeX Categories
MakeX Inspire: mTiny Fruit Wonderland (3 to 7 years)
CATEGORY DESCRIPTION
– Based on mTiny robot.
– Category for children from 3 to 7 years old.
– Teams of 1 participant and 1 adult coach.
– Recommended for preschool and 1st grade students
– 2 qualifying rounds, 2 final rounds.
– Each round will last 7 minutes
MakeX Inspire: Smart Logistics (6 to 12 years)
CATEGORY DESCRIPTION
MakeX Inspire is a single-mission competition program for teenagers aged 6-12.
The competition is adopted with a single mission format, significantly lowering the participation threshold. The concept of no restrictions on how the mission can be completed has hence the fun and participation experience of the competition, which also fully exercises the abilities of critical thinking and strategic planning of contestants.
MakeX Starter: All-Core Journey (6 to 13 years)
CATEGORY DESCRIPTION
The competition is divided into two parts: manual stage and autonomous stage.
– Based on the mBot V2 robot + Competition Kit.
– Elementary category from 6 to 13 years old .
– Teams of 2 participants and 1 or 2 advisors.
– 4 qualifying rounds, 3 final rounds.
– Each round will last 4:00 minutes.
